Easy - catching the lurgy!!! Not sure how many other people fell ill with the sickness bug, personally it couldn't have been any more debilitating!!! Guess i'm going to have to go back!?!

Bad bits= grinding to a walk only 4 miles into day 1 with an old hip flexor injury and then getting a slight hamstring tear by the end of the first day!
Good bits= Blimey, where do I start!! Meeting 7 great guys in tent 90! Confirming what I thought about my self that I'm a stubborn b*****d, collecting my medal (after being able to actually race hard for the last 2 stages) from Patrick B and getting that hug but the best bit by far was being at the finish line welcoming the final competitor home just ahead of the camels after 26 hours on stage 4. Such comradery was soooo good. Clapping, singing, and lots of hugging of the girl, there wasn't a dry eye in the house!! It confirmed everything I had hoped the event would be about!
