Ooo! Mark and I have put in for New York too! Not sure if we made the deadline in time, though... they've taken our admin fees, which hopefully means we just made it! I don't know when we find out... presumably some time in June, since Americans have an extra month to sign up...
I'm all signed up for Marathon of Britain, as well! Do you think you might do that one too? There are still places left!

It would be great if we were all in New York together!!! Do you have a goal time in mind?

Sorry Al i did get the email, i'm a little snowed-under at the moment - job hunting!

Catherine, thats great news about NY - i'm hoping by the end of May to know whether i have a place (fingers crossed). I'm not sure what time i will be aiming for - i've been taking a bit of time out from training but really need to get back into it - for my sanity if nothing else!!!! What will be your aim? Niki

I'm not sure either. I'm doing Stockholm in a couple of weeks, so I'll see after that. I've been trying to go under 3:30 for a while (PB 3:33), so that's sort of the aim. I just knocked nearly 3min off my 10k PB a couple of weeks ago (MDS was v good training!... probably all the running about with a rucksack!), so I'm tempted to try for faster but don't want to blow it!
How's the job hunt going?

hey just had a look on the BOM site. notice that 2008 is full already!!!! with over 100 on the waiting list??!! feck!

well that scuppers that plan a little....perhaps follow the same route i am for 2007, tho it will suck that i cant go in the tent with friends that are going that year as well which will be a shame...

ah well, my fault for delaying in getting forms across i guess.
